Analysis Plate Concrete Structure Calculation

Analysis of calculation of floor slabs and roof plates adjusted to the burden borne by each floor plate and forms the shape of the beam plan. In this Final Project plate mechanics calculations using Finite Method Elementt diskreet way with the help of the program SAP2000 versions 10:01

Structure entirely using conventional concrete slab with concrete material using the material f'c = 25 MPa = 250 kg / cm2, and the main reinforcement using steel fy = 240 MPa = 2400 kg / cm2

Steps Planning Plates
1. Determine the boundary conditions, pedestal and span length.
2. Determine the floor slab thickness (SK SNI 2002 under the provisions of paragraph 11, paragraph 5 sub-item 3) and do cheking to the allowable deflection.
3. Calculate the load acting on the plate, which consists of dead load (DL) and live load (LL).
4. Calculate kombinsai loading
5. Finding forces in and deflection with SAP2000.

Thickness determination Floor Plates
Determination of the floor slab thickness refers to the following formulas:

h(maks) ≤  ( ln(0.8 + fy/1500) ) / 36
h(min) ( ln(0.8 + fy/1500) ) / (36 + 9β)

Description:
h = thickness of plate
ln = longest span
fy = quality rebars
β = ly / lx

To model a floor plate, is considered the floor able to withstand forces of horizontal / earthquake or vertical direction. In SAP2000, on Section Area Define menu, there are 3 options to model plate by forces or moments it represents,
that is:

1. Membrane Element, only take into account the forces plot or a moment that rotates on an axis that is perpendicular to the field.

2. Element Plate, only take into account the moment and transverse force generated by the forces working in the field perpendicular to the element.

3. Element Shell, is the element that has the ability and Shell Membrane elements at once.
From that sense, then the chosen element type Shell Thick Shell with floor plates assuming a rigid plate that is capable of acting to withstand earthquake forces by way of the floor must be restrained (constraint).
